On Aug 12th 2008 Members of C-Shift were dispatched for an MVA with a vehicle on fire. Upon arrival crews found a 2 pick-up truck MVA with both vehicles involved with fire. All occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival. The accident occurred at US 30 and St Rt 115
September 1st 2008 at 2159 hrs ATFD crews from C-Shift were dispatched to a fully involved barn fire. The following is pictures are what the first due trucks encountered. There was also a heavily involved building attached to residence.
Just after shift change on Nov. 24th, A-Shift was dispatched with Delphos Fire Dept. for an MVA at Peltier Rd and State Rd. The accident was a single large pick-up who lost control due to icy conditions, striking several trees.
On Sept. 18th at 0648 hrs crews from ATFD were dispatched as mutual aid with Cairo Fire Dept. for a head on MVA with serious injury.
Nov 20th at 1931 hrs, A-Shift was called to a fully involved house fire. Upon arrival first trucks found thick heavy smoke coming from the rear of the structure.

At 2214 on Sept 24th crews from ATFD responded to an injury accident at the intersection of Elida (St Route 309) and Eastown Rd. This intersection is very heavily traveled.
On Dec. 1st 2008 at 0947 hrs, ATFD received a Mutual Aid assignment with Cairo Fire Dept, for a tanker carrying fuel overturned and on fire. Several area departments provided assistance for this large scale situation.
On Dec 30th at 1750 hrs A-Shift was assigned to working fire on Wapak Rd. Upon arrival interior crews experienced light smoke in the lower living area, upon ascending to the upper level conditions deteriorated. Interior crews found a bedroom heavily involved in fire. Crews from Shawnee and Delphos assisted.

On the night of May 19th, 2009, ATFD was dispatched for an 2– Car MVA with possible entrapment on Allentown Rd in front of BW3’s. Chief Hadding was first on scene and notified dispatch to issue a Trauma Alert to St Rita’s Medical Center for four patients. Medic Units from nearby Lima Fire and Shawnee Twp. Fire Dept were called for additional Transport Units, along with ATFD’s 3 Medic Units. A total of 6 patients were transported. Four individuals had to be extricated on scene. Total extrication time was 29 min.
